NEC Display Solutions of America, a provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today two new models to its PX Series projector line, the PX700W and PX800X. These installation models are designed for large auditoriums and venues requiring exceptional brightness, such as houses of worship, higher education, corporate and retail environments where there is high ambient light or the need for a larger screen size. The 7000-lumen PX700W and 8000-lumen PX800X are professional installation projectors with dual lamps that provide intense light output.

Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Media Division, Business Solutions Group today introduced its CP-RX94 3LCD projector. Weighing just five pounds and measuring 12 x 8.7 x 3 inches, the new CP-RX94 is ideal for business, educational and on-the-go applications and combines ease of operation with a host of useful features including HDMI connectivity.

Sony’s newest installation projectors combine high brightness and performance flexibility with a lower total cost for budget-conscious applications. The new models are the VPL-CW255 projector (4,500 lumens, WXGA resolution) and the VPL-CX235 projector (4,100 lumens, XGA resolution).

Sony is adding ultra-short throw capabilities to its line of business projectors with two new models perfect for education, training and corporate applications, as well as a range of other commercial uses.

The new models are the VPL-SW535 projector (WXGA resolution) and the VPL-SX535 projector (XGA resolution), with each delivering 3,000 lumens – which is among the brightest level offered by products in the ultra short-throw category.

Casio America, Inc., the creators of the World’s First Hybrid Laser and LED light source has raised the bar again.  Building on its second generation light engine, Casio has expanded its Pro High Brightness Series with two new models.  The XJ-H1700 and XJ-H1750 have a 4000 lumen output, surpassing the industry standard for brightness and raising the bar for innovation and cutting-edge technology.

The 3LCD projectors provide a host of upgraded performance and convenience features, and combine outstanding image quality with ease of use and Intelligent Eco environmentally friendly operation.

Continually diversifying the ways in which visual information can be presented, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, has introduced the LV-8235 Ultra-Short Throw (UST) Multimedia Projector. Capable of projecting an 80-inch picture from a distance of only 1.04 ft., the LV-8235 UST can sit on a table or be mounted horizontally or vertically on a wall, ceiling or floor for a variety of 3D or 2D display applications, including educational presentations, advertising/digital signage, or museum/arcade rear-projection screens.

In a move to meet the market demand for its Dual Vision projection screen material, Da-Lite Screen Company has increased the contrast on this innovative screen fabric. The recently reformulated Dual Vision with a viewing half angle of 65 degrees replaces the previous 50 degree half angle fabric, providing a dramatic improvement in the viewing cone and increasing the image uniformity.  Dual Vision offers a light grey tint for enhanced contrast and a 0.9 gain, which makes this screen surface an excellent choice for wide aspect ratio and multiple projector applications.
