The 79,500-square-foot combat development complex will be located in the northwest area of the RELLIS campus (pictured). Its aim is to shorten the time it takes to get emerging technologies from the lab to the field.
Matthew Scogin is the Michigan institution’s new president, even though he has never held a position in academia, other than being a board member at Hope.
Among them is the University of North Alabama’s $18 million, 60,000-square-foot Harrison Hall for the College of Nursing, which is slated to open next spring.
The nearly $30 million complex, which will include classroom and lab space, is the state of Tennessee’s largest community college building project to date.
