Construction Watch: Concordia University to debut new esports arena

Teams at the Austin institution will start competing this month

Concordia University will debut a new arena for its esports program that will start varsity competition this month. The Austin university is sponsoring teams in Overwatch and League of Legends. They will compete against teams at 100 colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Read more.

At the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, construction crews celebrated the halfway point in building the new William J. Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center. It is one of four “City for Champions” projects that are planned for Colorado Springs. Read more.
