Construction Watch: SUNY Oneonta plans emergency services building

The State University College at Oneonta in New York announced plans to construct an emergency services building on campus. The new facility will house the university police department, campus emergency management staff and the Otsego County Law Enforcement Academy. Read more.

Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in South Carolina is awaiting the opening of its new Nursing and Health Science building. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for September 27. Read more.

The St. Joseph County Council in Indiana approved a request from Saint Mary’s College to issue $51 million in bonds to help improve the 175-year-old campus. Read more.

The Little Rock, Arkansas, board of directors approved a resolution to contribute $4.6 million from the city’s Street Fund to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for a construction project to turn Pine and Cedar Streets into one boulevard. Read more.
