The University of California, Davis suspended its entire baseball program and placed the coaching staff on administrative leave due to allegations of misconduct, according to officials.
“The safety of students is of utmost importance to UC Davis,” the school’s intercollegiate athletics department said in a statement.
The UC Davis Office of Compliance and Policy is investigating the allegations, a process that is expected to last for the first two months of fall quarter, which begins Sept. 20.
