Tuition for college students is going up again at Virginia’s public colleges and universities.
According to a new report, tuition for in-state undergrads is rising about 2.1% for the 2025-2026 school year, which is about a $200 increase per student.
The report by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia says that with room and board, students can expect the average cost for a four-year school to be just under $29,600, an increase of about $900 from 2024.
