Highlighting the success of liberal arts grads on campus

Despite the big push for STEM majors and career-focused skills in recent years, the liberal arts seem to be making a resurgence.

Liberal arts degree programs in 2016 ranked No. 1 for most completions as well as for the biggest increase in completions, higher ed consulting firm Gray Associates found in a recent analysis of IPEDS preliminary data.

One way to share the successes of graduates with students and visitors is to create a wall of recognition. Such walls often get added to periodically with new alumni. Some institutions use the displays to focus on alumni in particular fields and may install them in an academic building for a specific school. Others have them in more central places on campus and cover any graduate worthy of recognition.
