Majority of Sweet Briar College faculty oppose new transgender admissions policy

Staff members at Sweet Briar College are taking a stand against a new transgender admission policy at the school.

It says you now have to be born a female and living as a female to apply. There’s agreement among most of the faculty on the issue. They voted 48 to 4 to revoke the policy; that is 90 percent of the faculty.

However, the school has a different take. The new admissions policy is at the center of controversy at Sweet Briar College.
