Institutions that demonstrate gender parity have a higher likelihood to enroll more students, receive donor support and even maintain academic integrity, according to The New York Times.
Reports by National Student Clearinghouse Research Center and YouthTruth suggest that male enrollment has declined faster than women for the past five years and only 57% of young men graduating high school in 2023 expect to go to college.
The number of female-led colleges and universities around the world increased this year, and America is leading the charge. Of the 48 top-ranked schools around the world helmed by a woman, 16 represent the red, white and blue, according to Times Higher Education (THE).
