Two universities that have embraced remote work in some of their departments have experienced early signs of better staff recruitment, performance, work morale and performance.
Since fall 2017, enrollment at the state's four-year public institutions has declined by 12.4%, a dramatically worse dip than the nation's overall 3% decrease in that sector, according to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
The country's leaders made it clear at a panel this past Tuesday that there are federal dollars available to meet cybersecurity's booming workforce demands. Colleges are responding by either creating new programs for this upcoming academic year or strengthening their existing ones.
