The $24.5 million, 75,000-square-foot project is a renovation and expansion of the Hauke Center and Alumni Auditorium. The facility will be the new academic home for CCM programs and allow all business faculty and programs to reside together elsewhere on campus. In addition, the new building will house exhibit space, a dining hall, classrooms and offices, as well as support for transit, bookstore, mail and copy services.
Center for Collaborative Research
Nova Southeastern University (Fla.)

The $80 million, 215,000-square-foot research building will house a multimillion-dollar IBM supercomputer donated by Centaurus Energy of Houston. It will also have one of the state’s largest wet labs and the NSU Technology Incubator, as well as an outpatient medical facility with a centralized clinical research infrastructure for investigators in multiple disciplines, and a floor for activities related to the university’s partnership with the United States Geological Survey.
Tetro Student Village

Located on a 16-acre site about half a mile from UTSA’s campus, this student residential community will have 121 flats and 77 townhomes. A coffee shop, club room, fitness center, media room, resort-style pool, dog park and tanning room are among the amenities. Carter, an Atlanta-based developer, provided program and project management services for Tetro. —Melissa Ezarik
