HB 165, sponsored by Rep. Danny Garrett, R-Trussville, would require public colleges and universities to file an annual report detailing state and federal funds received and spent in the previous fiscal year.
What happens to a college when it dies? What happens to its alumni? What happens to the memories the sacred site stores? What happens to its soul? Is it tainted somehow, corrupted by its demise, cheapened?
