How does a university deal with hurricanes, pandemics and free speech?

The University of North Carolina–Wilmington is right in hurricane alley and has had a couple of hits in recent years. It has also had to deal with the COVID mess and with freedom of speech issues. On that, the school has improved, attaining a “green light” ranking from FIRE, having eliminated all policies that could punish people in the university community for their speech.

In today’s Martin Center article, Shannon Watkins interviews the outgoing chancellor, Jose Sartarelli, discussing those and other issues.
