UB Tech® announces its lineup of keynote speakers for 2019 conference

Headlining UB Tech® 2019 are four prominent speakers who will address a diversity of cutting-edge topics for attendees. The conference will be held June 10-12 in Orlando.

Opening the conference will be AV visionary Gary Kayye, who returns by popular demand for his third consecutive UB Tech keynote. He will explore how leading-edge institutions are pushing the envelope with networked AV in ways that will fundamentally change teaching and learning in higher education.

The marquee keynote speaker is High Point University President Nido Qubein, who will discuss ways to inspire higher ed leaders to rise to the challenges of a world in constant flux.

The closing keynote will be delivered by University of Alabama at Birmingham CIO Curtis Carver, who will reveal how to leverage AI to create digital moments and transform higher education.

The UB Tech pre-conference Women in Technology summit will feature a keynote presentation by Nada Marie Anid, vice president for strategic communications and external affairs at New York Institute of Technology, who will examine contributions of female scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.
