Three students allege the Ivy League school ignored prior warnings about the shooter and did not provide adequate security that could have prevented the tragedy.
A proposed rule would require applicants to Florida’s public colleges to show proof of lawful presence before admission. It would also allow colleges to deny admission or enrollment over misconduct.
The Board of Regents says this is the fourth tuition increase in the past 10 years. Tuition will rise 1% for in-state undergraduate students beginning in fall 2026.
