Institutions have been changing general education requirements to match job skill demands of employers.

Anthony Kronman, former dean of Yale Law School and a current professor, argues that the feverish egalitarianism pervasive on today's college campuses is out of place at institutions whose job is to prepare citizens to live in a vibrant democracy.

Among other Greek reforms, colleges and universities are publishing behavior scorecards, postponing rush weeks, banning hard alcohol and setting academic requirements for fraternity and sorority members.
