With time of the essence - as the end of semester nears and the fall semester looms - institutions are doing their part in trying to get their populations vaccinated.
Nova Southeastern University, Cornell University, and Roger Williams College in Rhode Island joined Rutgers in requiring students to be vaccinated for the fall term. Many other colleges and universities continue to take a more guarded approach to mandating vaccinations.
It's impossible to know how often college students are getting vaccinated. Rumors of it happening illegitimately are widespread, but many situations aren't so duplicitous upon closer examination, because the vaccinated students are actually eligible.
