People Watch: U of Arkansas System chief gets 4-year contract extension, pay raise

Board of trustees approved the measures for President Donald Bobbitt, who has served in the top spot since 2011

Donald Bobbitt, president of the University of Arkansas System, has had four more years added to his contract. The board of trustees approved the extension as well as a $10,000 raise and a $25,000 increase in deferred compensation. Bobbitt began his term November 1, 2011. Previously, he served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington. Read more.
