People Watch: Central Ohio Technical College names new president

 

John M. Berry is becoming Central Ohio Technical College’s first new president in 15 years. He knows firsthand what it will take to lead COTC. For 14 years, he has served as dean of students at the school and director of student life at Ohio State-Newark. He also was in administrative positions at community colleges in West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina. Read more

Darrin Good will take over as president of Nebraska Wesleyan University, following the retirement of Fred Ohles on July 1. He currently serves as vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty for Whittier College in California. Read more

Lindenwood University-Belleville President Brett Barger has stepped down to pursue other opportunities. He had been placed on administrative leave last fall at the Illinois school. Read more
