New University of Montana president comes from GE Transportation

Seth Bodnar, 38, left General Electric Transportation to become the 18th president of the University of Montana. Bodnar spent six years at GE as a senior executive and president and CIO of its Digital Solutions business. He also served in the military for eight years. At Montana, Bodnar plans to address declining enrollment and budgetary challenges.

He will also relaunch the university’s search for a chief academic officer and provost.
