New Mexico’s higher education department sends letter to NMSU

New Mexico’s higher education department is now acting against New Mexico State University.

The department is asking for an independent investigation into all university-sponsored athletic programs.

The university recently replied to the department with its own letter. In it, they said they have launched an investigation with private law firm Greenberg Traurig to investigate the hazing allegations within the basketball program.
