Jacob Padgett has been in the Air National Guard for seven years, and he’s already planning his next career move.

He’s a graduate student studying cybersecurity at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and is considering getting a Ph.D. or a second master’s degree.

“I enjoy cybersecurity,” Padgett said. “My end goal is to commission within the Air Force. So the Air Force ROTC just started here this year, and I’m currently doing that program. And I have to do two more years.”
