When campuses shut down in March and no one knew what the next few months would bring, employees had a lot of questions about their own health—including whether COVID-19-related tests and treatments were covered by insurance and how falling ill or caring for a loved one would be covered by sick leave.

This summer, UB surveyed readers about their institutions’ coronavirus communication, benefit and policy changes, and future outlook in these areas. View the graphic below to see what trends emerged.
