Hood College will receive $54 million from Hodson Trust on Monday which is the largest gift in the school’s 130-year history.
The educational institution says that 100% of the money will go toward undergraduate scholarships which will benefit the students.
On Wednesday, the school will host an event where students will have the opportunity to sign a thank you card to the Hodson trustees along with participating in a student giveaway featuring sweet treats and t-shirts.
