‘Hateful symbols and threats’ found in restrooms on Curry College campus

Black students were targets of some of the graffiti, and officials also found a drawing of a swastika.

Antisemitic vandalism and a racist threat were discovered in two buildings on a Massachusetts college campus earlier this week.

Officials at Curry College, in Milton, said the hateful graffiti was discovered in men’s restrooms inside a residence hall and the athletic field house. One of the messages included a threat targeting the Black community on Saturday. The other was a drawn swastika.

It’s not the first such incident on campus. Campus leaders and the Student Government Association held listening sessions last week to discuss related issues on campus.
