Traliant, an award-winning provider of sexual harassment training, today announced a new online course for colleges and universities who must comply with the requirements of the Clery Act, a federal law mandating that schools receiving federal funds report and disclose campus crime statistics. Traliant’s Clery Act training course is designed for Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) and others involved in campus safety and security.

“Clery Act training is an important step in complying with the requirements of the law,” said Mike Pallatta, Traliant CEO and Co-Founder. “By increasing individuals’ understanding of their role as CSAs, they can better fulfill their responsibility to report campus crimes, support targets of violence and help create safer campus communities.”

Traliant’s Clery Act training is a 25-minute, interactive course that explains the Clery Act, its compliance requirements, and the responsibilities of CSAs to report Clery crimes, including hate crimes, sex offenses and drug, alcohol and weapons violations. The interactive training features a host video, Viewer Mailbag and Twitter Q&As, drag and drop interactions and other knowledge checks that reinforce key concepts. Learners receive a course completion certificate at the end of the training.

Clery Act training is part of Traliant’s Enrichment Library, which includes Title IX training and a range of other topics that promote safe, respectful learning and working environments.
