Student loan repayment assistance company changes name to Ardeo Education Solutions
LRAP Association, which has partnered with more than 120 colleges and universities across 38 states to help students repay their student and parent loans, has changed its name to Ardeo Education Solutions to better reflect its mission and growth.
Ardeo Education Solutions has provided loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs) for the past 11 years to students and families. The Indiana-based company helps colleges build customized loan repayment assistance programs, which the colleges then offer to incoming students who intend to borrow, offsetting the financial risks of educational loans.
The transition to the name Ardeo Education Solutions reflects the company’s growth and passion to ensure that the life-changing impact of higher education is more financially accessible to more students. Ardeo empowers students to choose the best college, major or future career that is right for them, without having to worry about how they are going to pay back their student loans after graduation.
Why the name Ardeo?
- “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” This quote has special meaning to the company – used in memory of Ruthie Wellhausen, a beloved member of the founding team who drew inspiration from the quote.
- Ardeo is from Latin, meaning “to be on fire,” or “of passion.”
- Ardeo Education Solutions is passionate about the positive impact of higher education – and are committed to lighting a path for students that eliminates the barriers fear and financial uncertainty create.
