Palomar College president resigns

Palomar College President Joi Lin Blake is resigning her position, according to an agreement struck two months after she was placed on administrative leave amid grim warnings about the college’s fiscal status.

The governing board on Tuesday approved an agreement with Blake, which formalizes her resignation, effective June 30, the college announced in a statement Wednesday. Acting President Jack Kahn, who has held the post temporarily since Dec. 17, will continue to run the college in the meantime.
