Oberlin College gets grant to detail history

Oberlin College has received a $10,000 grant to tell the history of the college, the city and its role as a sanctuary city in a traveling exhibition.

The award from the Council of Independent Colleges is part of its program, “Humanities Research for the Public Good.” Oberlin College was one of 25 recipients chosen from about 100 institutions. The program, according to the organization’s website, helps offer the tools needed for different institutions to connect with individuals and communities.
