Bangor Savings Bank partnered with Husson University on a unique course offering that enabled 24 bank employees to earn their MBA degree. On January 3rd, the Bank held a celebratory event to congratulate the recent graduates.

The program was structured to bring Husson instructors to the Bank to teach the thoughtfully constructed and rigorous course work, making it easier for the students to balance full-time jobs and families.

“Husson is proud to provide advanced business education through our MBA program to the hard-working professionals at Bangor Savings Bank,” said Marie Hansen, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Business at Husson University. “Our goal, as Maine’s largest College of Business, is to provide students with the opportunity to achieve career success as they lead their organizations through change and growth.”

Bangor Savings Bank President and CEO Bob Montgomery-Rice commented, “We were so pleased to offer our employees the opportunity to earn their advanced degree at no cost to them.
