As tuition continues to rise, Nevada administrators propose alternative schemes

College administrators in Nevada are suggesting changes to make higher education more accessible and affordable to students, even after tuition hikes.

The Nevada System of Higher Education’s (NSHE) Board of Regents has proposed tuition schemes and the Nevada State College is considering raising its minimum admissions requirement (with exceptions) to meet increased enrollment demands. Proposals made this month will be reviewed again at the board’s next meeting in February.
