15 years after Sam Spady’s alcohol poisoning death at CSU, college drinking still at issue
It’s been 15 years, but the red brick house on Wagner Street still looks the same.
It’s giant — 10,000 square feet — with 29 bedrooms, stately white pillars and cone-shaped topiaries that flank its double doors.
You’d think a house like that would overshadow its neighbors in a cozy pocket of homes just northwest of Colorado State University’s Fort Collins campus, but it’s quite the opposite. It fits in alongside a smattering of two- and three-story mini mansions on CSU’s Greek row.
