At approximately 6:30 a.m. on April 27, 2011, the devastating twisters that wrought death and destruction across Alabama hit Wallace State Community College.
It left the campus battered, stripping roofs from the library, the computer science building, the business education building, the student center, and the new Advanced Visualization Center.
It sucked out doors and windows, toppled more than 100 trees, overturned trucks, downed power lines, and destroyed greenhouses.
Miraculously, no lives were lost.
