Lice Outbreak Affects 4 Dorms At Huntington U.

Officials at Huntington University in northeast Indiana say an outbreak of head lice is affecting students in four dormitories.

Student life vice president Ron Coffey tells The Journal Gazette that university officials at the school 25 miles southwest of Fort Wayne think they have the problem under control. Coffey wouldn’t give an estimate of how many students had contracted lice.

He says school officials think the source of the lice was a group of students who returned from a mission trip to India at the end of January.
