Grand Rapids Community College wants to make it easier for students to earn a business degree from Western Michigan University.

The two schools today finalized what they describe as an easy to follow path for students to transfer from GRCC to Western’s Haworth College of Business.

“Many students use GRCC as a launch pad to four-year universities, and this partnership allows GRCC to offer students a set curriculum and a smooth transition into a bachelor’s program at a distinguished institution like Western Michigan,” said GRCC President Steven Ender.

According to GRCC, the agreement guarantees that GRCC students who earn an associate degree, with a minimum of a C in certain classes and an overall 2.5 GPA, will be admitted to Western’s Bachelor of Business Administration program.
