Gannon University to build new indoor field house, renovate rec center

Gannon University will build a new indoor field house to allow its teams to practice year-round and renovate its current recreation center.

Erie City Council this morning authorized a $22 million bond issued by the City of Erie Higher Education Building Authority for the project, which also includes the demolition of the Crispo Hall residential building on West Third and Sassafras streets.

About $5.5 million of the bond will be used to refund an old bond.
