The first time Anne Prisco stepped onto Felician College’s campus, the veteran college administrator was undercover.
Her disguise: A helpful aunt looking for a college for her California-based niece.
Her true mission: Scope out the small New Jersey college that invited her to apply to be its new president.
Using her maiden name, Prisco took a campus tour, chatted with the student tour guide, rode the shuttle bus and walked through a dorm. After a few hours, she concluded the 2,200-student Catholic college in suburban Bergen County seemed like a good fit.
