West Virginia University is being sued by a former employee who claims he was subjected to a hostile work environment after a supervisor was fired for racially harassing him.
David Robertson alleges in the lawsuit that the school and its Board of Governors didn't take sufficient actions to prevent a hostile work environment.
According to the lawsuit, Robertson, who is black, was singled out by the supervisor for racial harassment and taunting.
After the supervisor was fired, the lawsuit claims another supervisor told Robertson that his safety couldn't be guaranteed.
