As the court injunction keeping Central Michigan University professors from striking expires, Wednesday, the faculty and administrators have a court hearing Thursday morning.
The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Isabella County Circuit Court with Judge Paul H. Chamberlain.
Faculty Association President Laura Frey said the university administrators aim to extend the court injunction Chamberlain issued on Aug. 26 after the faculty went on strike to protest working without a contract on the first day of the semester.
Monday is the start of exam week, the final week of the semester.
