Adapt Courseware expands catalog and LMS integration capabilities

Adapt Courseware, the provider of comprehensive adaptive online curriculum resources that individualize each student’s learning experience, has added three business-oriented offerings to its courseware catalog for the upcoming academic year beginning this Fall: Organizational Behavior, Statistics, and Financial Accounting. Additionally, Adapt Courseware has developed integrations which allow colleges and universities to readily provide students with seamless access to its offerings through leading Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Desire2Learn, Angel, and Pearson eCollege.

“Our growing catalog and increased LMS integrations allow colleges and universities to offer online learning experiences which are far beyond the static formats of typical online courses. They not only give students more options in how they learn, but also easier access to personalized educational opportunities, making the entire experience more effective,” said Dr. John Boersma, CEO of Adapt Courseware and a former university faculty member.

Adapt Courseware’s offerings are enabling educators to make measurable impacts on learning outcomes at colleges and universities nationwide. The new offerings include the first in a series of planned business administration offerings, which diversify the company’s social sciences offerings, such as Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to Sociology. Each offering is developed through a highly disciplined instructional design process, which involves in-depth collaborations among Adapt Courseware’s subject matter experts, academic content developers, peer reviewers, and multimedia production teams. Adapt Courseware also works in conjunction with higher education institutions to prioritize topics, subjects, and disciplines based on instructional capacity needs and student demand.

Adapt Courseware’s offerings advance the eLearning experience whereby learning paths adjust based on each student’s skills, knowledge, and responses. Learning becomes more dynamic and personalized as students engage with compelling digital interactives and content, as well as with instructors and other students. Every Adapt Courseware curriculum resource embodies five fundamental design principles: effective multimedia, optimal challenge, student choice, mastery learning and social learning.

Boersma added, “For several years, we have conducted extensive research on learning theories and we continue to invest significantly in the production of each offering. We are thrilled to be transforming learning experiences into something much more engaging and productive for students and instructors.”
